My name is Jaime Pombo.
I am delighted to be in service at Grace Fellowship Seventh-Day-Adventist church. I also serve as pastor of the Guntersville and Rainsville Seventh-Day-Adventist churches. Before coming to Grace, I pastored in Quitman, MS; Gilbertown, AL; Jackson, AL; Fort Payne (Spanish), AL and Montgomery, AL (Spanish).
I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and migrated to the United States at age 18.
I accepted the Lord’s invitation for salvation in 2000 and shortly after, I served as a Bible teacher in Guyana. It was during this student-missionary year that I felt the call to full-time ministry. I currently have a BA in Theology from Southern Adventist University and a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University. On June 23, I married the lovely Michelle Flores. I enjoy playing the guitar, running, weight lifting, and playing soccer.
My Goal as a pastor is to show you how “real” Jesus is and how He longs to be in your life. My favorite scripture is Philippians 4:6-7. It says: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
I invite you to come out and visit us at Grace Fellowship SDA Church. It’s a place of caring where you can grow in God’s Grace. In His Service.
